This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs what you can and cannot generate, upload, or distribute with Flint. It forms part of our Terms of Service. Violations may result in account suspension, termination, forfeiture of credits, and reporting to authorities or rights-holders.
About this policy
Flint is an AI video tool. Powerful tools require clear rules. This AUP applies to every account holder and to every piece of content generated, uploaded, or published through Flint. We apply it globally, regardless of where the content is ultimately seen.
Prohibited content
You must not use Flint to generate, upload, distribute, or exploit:
- Synthetic depictions of any identifiable real person (including political figures, celebrities, activists, public servants, and private individuals) without that person's documented, informed, specific, and revocable written consent.
- Non-consensual intimate imagery; any content that sexualises minors in any form.
- Content that harasses, defames, threatens, or bullies any person.
- Hate speech, or content that promotes violence or discrimination on grounds of religion, caste, race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or nationality.
- Misleading advertising: unsubstantiated health, medical, or safety claims; fake testimonials; doctored before/after comparisons; drip-pricing; deceptive scarcity or urgency; misleading superlatives. Claims must comply with the FTC Endorsement Guides and equivalents.
- Content targeting minors for age-inappropriate categories (alcohol, tobacco, gambling, dating, financial products, prescription medicines).
- Political advertising or content about political candidates, parties, or elections, unless you comply with: applicable US federal, state, and platform political ad rules and state AI/deepfake laws (including Texas SB 751, California AB 730 / 2839 / 2655, Michigan, Minnesota, Washington, New York). Synthetic content depicting real political figures is prohibited outright without documented written consent.
- Voice cloning of musicians, performers, or public figures without consent, consistent with the Tennessee ELVIS Act and similar personality-rights laws.
- Content that impersonates another brand, misuses trade marks, passes off, or falsely suggests endorsement.
- Content promoting illegal products or services (unregulated crypto schemes, unlicensed gambling, controlled substances, weapons, endangered wildlife, counterfeit goods).
- Content that infringes intellectual property rights, including uploading copyrighted images, music, clips, characters, or likenesses that you do not own or are not licensed to use.
- Malware, phishing, or social-engineering content.
- Content that removes provenance metadata or AI-generated labels we embed in Output.

- Health, wellness, and nutraceutical claims must carry required disclaimers and comply with FDA / FTC rules.
